On that night, she shared the stage with Lady Gaga as they performed Édith Piaf’s beloved classic “La Vie en Rose.”
When this was first reported, it was thought that Dion would be making $2 million for singing that single song. They also thought that all of her expenses would be included, including travel expenses and it would all be paid for by the Olympics.
A spokesperson for the Paris Olympics, however, has stepped forward to clarify matters. They said that performers who were at the games would not receive any money for their performance. What the Olympics organization would do was to cover production costs and any expenses associated with their performance.
They wanted us to be about the performers taking part in something historic and not trying to get ahead financially.
The biggest challenge for Dion was getting beyond her problems with stiff person syndrome. that autoimmune neurological disorder results in muscle rigidity and stiffness. It is progressive and has limited her quality of life significantly.
It was encouraging to see her making a comeback during this time but it is not without its problems. Stress, loud noise, and changes in temperature can trigger the symptoms and they could be significant.
Dion uses a variety of environmental controls and relaxation techniques in order to lower the risk as much as possible. medical treatments are available to manage issues such as muscle spasms, some of which may last for hours.
We know that it had to be difficult for her to go through this but it was a beautiful thing to see. We hope that were able to see much more of her in the future.
