Fans Are Shocked And Outraged After Wheel Of Fortune Refuses To Award The Prize

If you happen to be a fan of The Wheel of Fortune, then you have probably seen some pretty close calls over the years. It’s one of their shows that many people appreciate because they can play along at home, but it’s also a show that is not flawless.

Not all that long ago, a married choir director from California was trying to solve one of the puzzles for a big bonus. The category was ‘Living Thing’ and there were only two words.

When Megan, the contestant went over with Pat Sajak on that day, he opened the envelope and showed her that there was a $40,000 prize waiting for the winner. There were only two letters showing at the time, but she got a few more after choosing letters to include in the puzzle.

It seemed as if the puzzle was going to be solved, and with only a few seconds remaining, she began taking some guesses. When you listen to her guessing in the video below, you can clearly hear her saying ‘Pink Orchid’ or something similar when she first started.

In the end, she did receive $14,007, although that was a lot short of the $40,000 opportunity she had before her.

After this was debated online, some people said that she did say pink orchid and others, that she said “something orchid.’ Watch the video below and see if you can figure it out for yourself.
