When most of us think about Michael J Fox, the first thing that comes to mind is his acting career. He has been responsible for some of the greatest movies in recent times, including Back to the Future.

Despite the fact that most of us think of Michael J Fox as being an actor, he actually tends to focus more on his family. He has been married to Tracy Pollan for more than three decades and sometimes jokes that he feels like he has five children instead of four.

Fox feels that it is important to be there for the children as much as possible. When he gave parenting advice in interviews, he said that if you ask your kids for a few minutes and then listen to them, it isn’t long before they are with you for 15 or 20 minutes. He tries to be there with his children unfailingly.

In 1991, his world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He spoke about things in a 2009 interview, saying that his children were an important part of his life. He said that he had to learn empathy and resilience and prioritize what is truly important in life.

All of his children are adults and they are featured on his Instagram page. They have a very close bond as a family and he isn’t afraid to share how much he loves and cares for them.

He also dedicated a post to his wife on Mother’s Day. He described the children that they have as being beautiful, sensitive, intelligent, empathetic, independent, compassionate, and adventurous.

One of those children, Sam Michael Fox, is the only son he has with his wife. He was born in 1989. Sam looks a lot like his father and he is also working in entertainment at this time.

The couple have twin daughters, one of which went to Duke University and majored in psychology, art history, and visual and media studies.

She works in Los Angeles at this time. The other studied psychology and earned a Masters of Education from Harvard.

His oldest daughter was born in 2001. She recently went to Duke University, and she doesn’t like to be in the public eye. Occasionally, you can see her on the Instagram account.

Even though Fox has been through his challenges after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, it isn’t the only problem he has. His mother died in 2022, and it was a blow to the family.
