Police have launched an investigation into the death of a woman whose body was found in a stockyard in New South Wales, Australia.
At around 11:20 a.m. local time on Monday, Oct. 5, police responded to reports of a body “seen partially submerged in a stock dip” on a property in Terragon, near the town of Murwillumbah, the New South Wales (NSW) Police said in a press release.
“A crime scene was established by officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District (TBPD) and inquiries into the incident commenced,” the NSW Police said. “The scene has since been forensically examined, and the body — believed to be that of a woman — has been recovered.”
