The moment was easy to miss: Trump basking in applause, cameras sweeping the chamber, and JD Vance turning toward Speaker Mike Johnson with a practiced grin. According to lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman, the words behind that smile were anything but routine—a vow of a “full reckoning” aimed at Trump’s perceived enemies.
