Since 1994, when he portrayed Lieutenant Dan in the iconic film Forrest Gump, Gary Sinise has been actively involved in advocating for veterans’ causes. His commitment has earned him numerous accolades over the years, with the most recent being the prestigious Patriot Award.

In February 2020, the Patriot Award was bestowed upon him at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, an honor presented by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, marking his exceptional dedication to the cause.

Gary Sinise’s exceptional qualities extend beyond his acting prowess. He consistently supports troops, often going to great lengths to provide assistance to those in greatest need.
