Piers Morgan Faces Critics After Interviewing Baby Reindeer ‘Martha’

Piers Morgan has come under fire for his Peers Morgan Uncensored show in the past. It seems as if he is just trying to get as much attention as he can, and he certainly got a lot of attention from this interview.

People are criticizing him for interviewing a woman that is being called the real life Martha from the Baby Reindeer Netflix series. Her real name is Fiona Harvey, and the interview did not go well.

Viewers have been interested in the true story behind the Baby Reindeer show ever since it aired. The show focuses on Donnie, a comedian, who has an unusual relationship with a middle-aged woman named Martha. She became his stalker after they met in a pub.

Some viewers were trying to find out who the real-life character was, including Martha, and some people named Fiona Harvey as that individual. That is where Piers Morgan comes in, because he wanted to sit down with her and interview her on his YouTube show, Uncensored.

Afterward, he posted a picture of the two of them and said she wanted to set the record straight and have her say. But when the show aired, viewers were not very happy with the interview and found it to be uncomfortable.

One person said that it just wasn’t funny because it was real life and another shamed him for interviewing her.

After the interview, she went to the media and told them what he refused to accept.

She said: “There was a heavy emphasis from Piers Morgan on Gadd and the emails I am supposed to have sent.

“I have my own thoughts on it that I’d like to keep to myself but I wouldn’t say I was happy. It was very rapid to try to trip me up. He did it fast paced to catch me off guard.

“Piers kept saying to me ‘are you sure you haven’t sent this guy 41,000 emails and phone calls?’. A lot of the interview, for a good 10 minutes, he kept coming back to this.

“I said, ‘Look, Even if I had sent some emails, it doesn’t mean I’m guilty of the rest of the stuff. As I said, in order to bill something as a true story, it’s got to be pretty much 100% true.

“It seemed to me that I was set up. I feel a bit used.”
