We all need to make decisions in life and some of them are what we would consider to be a no-brainer. We don’t expect that we will have any serious repercussions from those decisions and we might even make them on the spur of the moment.
One woman experienced a life-changing moment when she made such a decision, and she decided to share the story on TikTok. It is a story that many people can relate to and there were plenty of comments that backed up what she had to say.
Being an employee can be difficult at times, especially if you work for a boss that is hard to get along with. The woman in this story had such a boss, and the issue came out of nowhere.
Since it was a hot day outside, she decided to wear shorts to work. This wasn’t something new, as she had worn the same pair of shorts to work many times in the past.
The manager had even seen her in those shorts and she had never said anything about it previously. On this particular day, however, she told her that the shorts were too short and she would have to go home to change them.
The girl was only a few minutes into a five-hour shift and suddenly, she was chastised for doing something she had done many times before. She did decide to go home, but she also decided not to come back.
Many people who commented on the video were in her corner, saying that the manager was out of line for telling her to go home and change her shorts.
There were even some who said she should not give two weeks’ notice but should only give one day after she had something else lined up.
