A little girl stole everyone’s hearts when she ran to give her dad a hug at the homecoming ceremony

At the homecoming of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, from Fort Carson, Colorado, a small girl dressed in American flag-themed attire won everyone’s hearts as she went to give her father a hug.

The military was stationed in southwest Asia for around 8 to 9 months, and the girl couldn’t stop smiling when she saw her father in the line.

Lieutenant Daniel Oglesby told FOX 21 News that when he saw his daughter, Cara, approaching him, he “was trying to decide whether or not it was good practice to break formation, but I didn’t have the heart in me not to give my little girl a hug.”
