Most of us are familiar with Shannon Doherty. It isn’t only because of the acting that she has done, it is also about her cancer journey and the difficulty she has faced.

In recent years, the Beverly Hills 90210 actress has been going through a lot of problems as a result of cancer. Most recently, the 52-year-old has gone through a cancer infusion treatment, and she has nothing but positive things to say about it.

She said: “After the sixth and seventh treatment, we really saw it breaking down the blood-brain barrier. Do I call that a miracle? For me, that happens to be a miracle right now.

“And that it’s actually breaking that blood-brain barrier is a miracle of that drug and a miracle of, you know, maybe God intervening and being like ‘I’m going to give her a break.’”

Doherty continues to be up against a difficult issue with her cancer struggles. In the recent past, she has talked about her upcoming funeral and how it should be a celebration of life, something similar to a lovefest, rather than something to cry over. She wants people to be thankful for what they have.

She also said that there were some personal ways that she wanted her ashes handled, but has still not come up with a final decision on the matter. She continues to look optimistically to the future when it comes to relationships.

In fact, Doherty even said last year that she still wants to find love again and feels that she won’t be single forever. After separating from her third husband, Kurt Iswarienko, she spent some time on herself, which was well-needed.

We don’t know what the future holds for Shannon Doherty, but we certainly wish her the best and hope that all of her wishes come true.
