The Resurrection of Akiane’s Masterpiece

When Akiane appeared on the Oprah Show at the age of nine, her talent touched the hearts of many. Oprah, amazed by her gift, asked where it came from. Without hesitation, Akiane confidently replied, “It comes from God.” This simple yet profound answer reflects the deep connection Akiane has with her artistic process.

Growing up in a small town in Idaho with a family who did not believe in God or discuss spirituality, Akiane’s connection to the divine was a mystery. Her mother, Forelli Kramarik, recalls that alongside her artistic abilities, Akiane began experiencing a spiritual awakening. Despite the absence of religious influence within their home, Akiane’s dreams and visions of God’s love became intense conversations that captivated her family.

The creation of “Prince of Peace” was born from a childhood dream and a strong desire to find the perfect model to portray Jesus. Akiane initially considered using poetry and literature to express her visions but ultimately concluded that words could not capture the complexity of her experience. She decided to paint instead, pouring her heart and soul into every stroke.

In a remarkable twist of fate, the family prayed for a model, and a tall craftsman resembling Jesus, who was also a carpenter, appeared at their door seeking employment. When Akiane saw him, she felt an inexplicable connection. Convinced that this man was the perfect model, she painted the iconic “Prince of Peace” based on the vision she had of him.

However, this remarkable painting faced numerous challenges on its journey to recognition. It was stolen before it could be exhibited, and even when it was finally returned, a clerical error prevented its intended showcase. Akiane sold “Prince of Peace” to a private collector, but she never gave up hope that the masterpiece would find its way back to her.

While waiting for its return, Akiane dedicated herself to sharing her art and spreading messages of peace and spirituality worldwide. She traveled to over 30 countries, offering art lessons to locals and selling prints of “Prince of Peace” to keep its story alive in people’s hearts.

Finally, in 2019, a miracle occurred. “Prince of Peace” found its way into the hands of a distinguished and esteemed family who recognized its significance. They passionately embraced their role as stewards of the painting, dedicated to protecting it for future generations.

When Akiane was finally reunited with her masterpiece, she couldn’t contain her emotions. Tears welled up in her eyes as she knelt down in gratitude. In an interview with CBS, she expressed her awe and gratitude, saying, “To be able to see this in the light again, after so many years, it’s still surreal to me.”

“Akiane: The Early Years,” an exhibition featuring “Prince of Peace,” can be seen at the Belóved Gallery in Marble Falls, TX. Akiane’s incredible talent shines through her artwork, touching the hearts of people from all walks of life, regardless of their faith.

In conclusion, the resurrection of Akiane’s masterpiece is a testament to her unwavering faith, extraordinary talent, and the power of love. The journey of “Prince of Peace” reminds us that miracles can happen, and that love always finds a way to touch those who need it most.
