violet eyes, and on-screen charisma. When people saw an actress, she was one of the first individuals who came to mind.
Taylor’s lover at the time was Richard Burton, and the two featured in a number of films together, including ‘Cleopatra,’
’The Taming of the Shrew,’ and ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’ In these films, Taylor gave some of her most recognized performances.
Taylor’s personal life, in addition to her extremely successful job, was widely publicized throughout her life.
She had eight marriages in total, including two to Burton, who was her husband twice. Despite the turmoil surrounding her romantic relationships, Taylor was finally able to have the family she had always sought.
She had four children with her second husband, Michael Wilding Jr. and Christopher Edward Wilding; Liza Todd with her third husband, Mike Todd; and Maria Burton, whom she adopted when she married her fifth husband, Richard Burton.
Both Michael Wilding Jr. and Christopher Edward Wilding were named after their father, Michael Wilding. Taylor will be remembered by her four children and ten grandchildren following her death.
Taylor’s grandchildren are now all adults, and in recent years, they have been discussing their fond memories of their late grandmother and describing what she was truly like.
The following are her grandchildren: Taylor’s son Michael has three children: Naomi Wilding, Laela Wilding, and Tarquin Wilding;
Christopher has Caleb Wilding, Andrew Wilding, and Lowell Wilding; Liza Todd has Quinn Tivey and Rhys Tivey; and Maria has Eliza Carson and Richard McKeown.
Quinn and his late grandmother both had the most beautiful eyes, and they both wanted to help people who were suffering from various conditions. Quinn is strikingly similar to his grandmother in many respects.
The fact that Taylor was a grandmother was the thing that mattered the most to her, despite the fact that she was beautiful, had a successful profession, was politically active, and had many romantic relationships.
Taylor was blessed with a total of ten grandkids, all of whom are now adults.‘When we were in bed together, she would offer me advise as we watched movies and had conversations.’
According to Magzter, the grandson Quinn shared his thoughts, saying, ‘Those are some of the ways I remember her most.’ His mother’s name is Liza Todd, and her father’s name is Taylor.
During an interview in March 2021 with TODAY, Laela discussed how Taylor’s participation in various types of activism sprang from her desire to spread a message of optimism to the rest of the world.
According to what Laela has heard, ‘I suppose that she very early on was impacted by the AIDS problem.’
‘She had the impression that others weren’t acknowledging the seriousness of the situation. Therefore, she placed herself in the spotlight in an earnest and genuine manner.’
Not only has Taylor’s work ethic, devotion to her art, and enthusiasm been an inspiration to her legion of devoted followers, but it has also rubbed off on her own family. Laela said:
‘She was the kind of person who, upon seeing an injustice, immediately began to speak up against it, and she never ceased doing so.’
Who she was is incredibly important, even if it may not be in the ways that a person first imagines when they think of her.
According to TODAY, Elizabeth Taylor founded the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) in 1991 and the American Foundation for AIDS Research in 1985. Both organizations’ founding members included Taylor.
The entire family has made an effort to get engaged in the foundation because they want to carry on Taylor’s advocacy and dedication to the cause.
They place a great deal of importance on this. Even Quinn, Taylor’s grandson, participates in running ETAF.
In accordance with his biography, which is available to read on the foundation’s website, Quinn has served the company as both an official and an ambassador, repping it both nationally and abroad.
Additionally, he is acting as a co-trustee of Taylor’s estate at her desire.
Quinn expressed his opinion that Taylor would be quite pleased to see the foundation remain active and helpful in a 2021 interview with PEOPLE. He clarified:
The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation was founded by my grandmother Elizabeth Taylor thirty years ago to provide direct care for people with HIV and AIDS as well as others whose lives have been affected by the illness.
I feel honoured to see ETAF carry on with her work, which includes enlightening lawmakers, increasing public knowledge, dispelling falsehoods, and reducing stigma and fear.
Although the fight is far from ended, I am thrilled to see ETAF carry on her work because the fight against HIV/AIDS was such a significant part of her legacy. Grandma would definitely appreciate this effort, I’m sure of it.
The project’s goal is to change the laws to make them more consistent with current scientific knowledge by tackling the issues on a state-by-state basis.
Quinn added that Grandma would have been quite happy with the work being done through the ‘HIV Is Not A Crime’ project.
Grandma always stood up for what she believed in and lived her life to the utmost. She wouldn’t cave to pressure from others, and she wouldn’t defend the status quo if she didn’t think it served the interests of the populace.
Quinn not only honors his late grandmother’s memory by continuing the traditions she started, but he also remarkably resembles her, especially in the vibrant eyes he got from her.
Given that Taylor’s grandchildren have proven to be lovely on the inside as well as the outside, it is reasonable to assume that her memory will live on forever.
