There are two types of people in this world, those who enjoy doing math and those who would rather avoid it. I’m sure that you made up your mind about which group you fill in when you went to school.

As parents, however, we don’t have the opportunity to stop doing math altogether. With our children in school, we sometimes find ourselves in situations where we remember very clearly why we disliked the subject while we were in school.
