Over the years, we’ve seen many interesting things show up on social media and at times, the news may be rather shocking. It isn’t always without problems, but this matter of general advice is one that has surprised many.
In this particular case, it was the use of a sanitary napkin and how many people around the world are using them wrong for the first time. Most women have used them at least once in their lifetime, whether they are just now getting their period or if it happened later in life.
There are two basic types of pads. One comes with wings and one comes without.
Essentially, the wings help the pad to stop moving around in the underwear and make it more comfortable to have in place. Unfortunately, the adhesive often sticks together so it is very difficult to remove without tearing it apart.
There’s actually something you can do to fix this problem, and a video on X showed just how easy it was.
When you open the pad from the wrapper, keep the paper in place that covers the adhesive on the wings. After you have put it in place, the wings can be secured using the paper.
Essentially, you are setting it up so the wings are sticking to the paper instead of sticking to the underwear. This isn’t necessarily the official way that it is supposed to be used, but many women are reacting with astonishment.
