Neil Diamond is one of the most famous musicians ever. He played in concert halls all the time for almost 50 years, until complications from Parkinson’s disease forced him to stop in 2018.

“It’s with a lot of regret and sadness that I tell you I’m giving up concert touring. I’ve been so honored to bring my shows to the public for the past 50 years,” Diamond said at the time in a statement to PEOPLE magazine. “Thanks to you, this ride has been “so good, so good, so good.”
