It’s been a long, long time since Tom Cruise was seriously romantically linked to anyone (at least in so far as we, the general public, know).

15 years have passed since Cruise’s infamous break-up with his third wife, Katie Holmes, and though the 61-year-old has continued to make blockbuster films and remains one of the most prominent celebrities in the world, it appears as though he’s not been as lucky in love.

Recently, Cruise’s name was mentioned in the same space as Columbian pop icon Shakira (herself a recent divorcee), and then again with Mission: Impossible co-star Hayley Atwell. Neither rumor, however, seems to hold much weight.

Yet fans of Cruise could well see him with a woman on his arm again before too long, with new speculation suggesting he is romantically involved with the 36-year-old ex-wife of a Russia oligarch.

The Daily Mail claim that the Hollywood star was recently sighted at a party in Mayfair, London with 36-year-old Elsina Khayrova, daughter to a Russian MP. Khayrova was previously married to Dmitry Tsvetkov.

“They were inseparable, clearly a couple,” one guest at the aforementioned event reportedly told the Mail. “He seemed to be besotted with her.”

Cruise and Khayrova are said to have turned up to the event – which took place last weekend – at around 9pm, sparking excitement amongst the other guests.

“Cruise was very friendly – he kept being asked for pictures and politely declining,” the Mail’s source continued.

“Eventually, the DJ had to make an announcement in Russian that Mr Cruise didn’t want any photos.

“He spent most the night dancing with Ms Khayrova, but at one point he was just throwing himself around in the middle of a group of women.”

Khayrova is a former model who holds British citizenship and divorced from her business tycoon ex-husband earlier this year.

Her name hit the headlines in 2022 when she appeared in court while being ordered to pay a hefty fee to the tune of £117,000 ($149,50) to a company who had installed fountains in one of her and her ex-spouse’s homes.

Cruise, meanwhile, has been married three times, first to Mimi Rogers between 1987 and 1990, then to Nicole Kidman for 11 years between 1990 and 2001.

The actor and Scientologist was then married to Katie Holmes between 2006 and 2012, but has remained single since their split.
